మీ ఇంట! నా వంట!!

About 2 years ago after I finished my talk on "Out of box thinking" in an organization, one of their employees asked me "Sir! I love cooking! How can I cash it?!" I wanted to tell her to "think out of the cooker" ;)  But instead told her an idea I got instantly. And its this!

Please specialize in about 7/8 dishes and tell everyone in your relatives and friends circle that for any small function in their home you'll cook any 2 of those dishes in "their kitchen, with their utensils and cooking materials" and charge initially something like Rs.1,000! I don't know whether she followed my advice or not!

I'm not able to think of a suitable punch line in English for this!!

Any of you who love cooking and are experts can use this idea freely! And pay my Gurudakshina with one of your special dishes ;)

మీ ఇంట! నా వంట!!

ఇదేమిటి అంటారా? నేను కాలేజీల్లోనూ, కంపెనీల్లోనూ "అవుట్ అఫ్ బాక్స్ థింకింగ్" మీద లెక్చర్స్ ఇస్తూంటాను! రెండేళ్ళ క్రితం ఒక కంపెనీలో అలా నా "టాక్" అయ్యాక ఒక ఉద్యోగిని నన్ను అడిగింది "నాకు వంట చెయ్యడం బాగా ఇష్టం! దాన్ని ఎలా కాష్ చేసుకోవాలి?!" అని. నేను వెంటనే అందామనుకున్నా "మీరిప్పుడు "అవుట్ అఫ్ కుక్కర్" థింకింగ్ చెయ్యాలి అని ;) కాని సభామర్యాద కాదని వెంటనే అప్పటికప్పుడు వచ్చిన ఆలోచన చెప్పాను.
మీరు ఒక 7/8 మంచి డిషెస్ స్పెషలైజ్ చెయ్యండి. ఆ తర్వాత మీ బంధు మిత్ర వర్గంలో అందరికీ చెప్పండి. మీ ఇంట్లో ఏమైనా చిన్న ఫంక్షన్ అయితే నన్ను పిలవండి. మీ ఇంట్లో, మీ వంటింట్లో, మీ వంట సామగ్రితో, మీ వంట సరుకులతో (ఇది మీకు బాలకృష్ణ డైలాగ్ గుర్తుకు తెస్తే నేనేం చెయ్యలేను!!) ఈ 7/8 డిషెస్ లో మీకిష్టమైన ఏవైనా ఒక 2 చెస్తాను. కేవలం వెయ్యి రూపాయలకే!! అని ప్రారంభించండి! అని చెప్పాను. ఆ తర్వాత ఆమె అలా చేసిందో లేదో తెలీదు.

సో మీలో ఎవరికైనా వంట మీద అభిమానం, ప్రావీణ్యం ఉంటే ఈ "అవుట్ అఫ్ బాక్స్" ఐడియా వాడేసుకోండి! నా గురుదక్షిణ ఏదో ఒక మాంచి డిష్ చేసి పెట్టడమే! ఫ్రీగా ;) 

PS: బోనస్ ఆఫర్ - ఈ పోస్ట్ హెడ్డింగ్ మీ పంచ్ లైన్ గా వాడుకోవచ్చు! గురుదక్షిణ మామూలే! మరో డిష్;)
