small birdie built a nest 6 days ago on a firm branch of the karivepaku
(Curry leaves) tree in our backyard. It took 2 days to build it. And
last 3 days its just sitting in the nest without moving an inch!
Well...its an exaggeration...no..not moving part..but the inch part
The nest is perhaps 3" in dia and there is almost no place for the bird
to move! Its hatching its eggs. Don't know how long it has to sit like
that. Can we sit in one place without moving an inch for just 1 hour?!
You've to strain your eyes to see the nest in this photo. As the tree is always in shade there isn't enough light to capture it with my mobile cam! But if you look very carefully the nest is almost at the center of the photo.
PS: Since I don't have 24/7 surveillance cameras in place I don't know whether the bird is fasting all these days or her husband is bring her food :)
